Postdoctoral Researcher
Masoud Negahdary currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, USA. He has been recognized among the top 2% of researchers globally for two consecutive years (2022-2023). Previously, he held the position of postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, from 2021 to December 2023, where he was honored as the best postdoctoral researcher at USP. Masoud earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from Yazd University of Medical Sciences, Iran, spanning from 2013 to 2018, during which he was distinguished as the best Ph.D. student at the university for one year. His Ph.D thesis, along with other (first postdoc) significant contributions in nanomaterial-based biosensing platforms, was conducted at the Nanomedicine and Nanobiology Research Center, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran, from 2015 to 2019. His research backgrounds encompass mainly aptamer-based biosensors, surface chemistry, nanomaterials, and nanomedicine.
