TEES Assistant Research Engineer
Andrea Locke, Ph.D., is an assistant research engineer with the Center for Remote Health Technologies and Systems and the Optical BioSensing Lab at Texas A&M University. Her research interest is in developing point-of-care technologies, particularly within low resource settings. Her doctoral research invloved the design of a fully implantable continuous glucose monitoring biosensor. Her current research efforts focus on investigating the use of fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy coupled with various nanoparticle assays for the design of lab-on-a-chip biosensors.
