Kendall DelBene

Kendall DelBene is a first-year Master of Science student in biomedical engineering who joined the Optical Biosensing Laboratory (OBSL) as an undergraduate in 2023. Kendall has contributed to a number of projects involving the use of pressure-sensing technologies, winning Best Presentation at the NASA TCC Wearables Challenge in 2024 for the development of a force-mapping glove and contributing to the development of novel devices for cardiopulmonary applications. Her current project focuses on identifying and counteracting noise artifacts in photoplethysmography (PPG) signals from wearable devices to improve signal quality for more accurate continuous cardiovascular monitoring.
